July 2006

We went to California again in July because my baby brother was getting married. He and his wife were together for like 10 or 11 years before they finally got married. It was a beautiful day. Julie rode in on a white carriage with the sun hitting the blue ocean as she rode in. Josh was crying like a big baby, it was the cutest thing i had ever seen. As the sun went down, we moved into the reception hall and partied like rock stars. :) It was so awesome to see all the of our family from all over. While we were there, Tahri and I decided that we need to make our way back to this beautiful city.

May 2006

In May we got to go to watch 2 Sun's game. My parents got us tickets to see the spurs vs. sun's game. Eva Longoria was there cheering on her man, and Tahri was constantly watching the big screen for them to show her. Whatever! Then my friend Melody and her husband came down to visit, so we went to watch the lakers vs. the sun's game. Both were really fun to watch. I had to wear orange both times to support the sun's. Just wanted to mention that so it didn't look like i was wearing the same thing to both games. ha! Also for my birthday Tahri got us tickets to the Keith Sweat concert, so we finally got to go. He played all the good songs that we remembered from high school. This was a really fun month. Oh yeah, and Kira and Rick came to visit us that month too. For valentine's day Rick surprised Kira with two tickets to Phoenix. They loved getting out of the cold for a little bit but missed their babies like crazy. We had a blast with them though.

Feburary 2006

For my birthday/valentine's day we went up to Flagstaff Arizona. We stopped off in Sedona on our way home. It is suppose to be very beautiful, and everyone said to stop there so we did. The views were so nice, and the town was really cute. Flagstaff was really cold. It even snowed while we were there and we were sooo glad that we didn't get that kind of weather in Phoenix. The time away was fun, but I think Tahri wished i was more of a "nautre" girl. He wanted to stop and enjoy all the different beautiful landscapes, and i was complaining about how cold it was, and how it all looked the same. ha, I know i'm a loser. :) Then on my actual birthday I had dinner with some friends because Tahri had class until about 10 that night. But he brought me home a cake, some balloons and some presents. I love birthdays!

Christmas 2005

Tahri's mom and two brothers came out to visit us after we got settled in, we went to the temple to look at the lights. But that is about all we did, ha. We spend the whole weekend watching episodes of 24. We couldn't get enough of it. Then we drove up to Oceanside to spend the last Christmas in the Oceanside house. It was a good and sad time. Davyne planned this wonder Christmas dinner at a beach house. We had the best prime rib dinner and then we played games around the bonfire. It was a good time. But before we left I put up our own tree and a few decorations.

Our First Home

After we were married we moved to Phoenix,
Arizona. We found this cute 2bed/2bath townhouse. We were about a 2 minute drive to the downtown area where there was really good shopping and food. The downside was that we lived pretty far from the only family we had there. But it was a good location because it was the midpoint from were we both worked. Tahri loved being in Phoenix, but me not so much.

The Beginning

Tahri and I knew each other back in high school, but we didn't start dating until about 5 years later, but he has wanted me from the first moment he saw me. Me, I had a feeling I would marry this guy when I heard him speak at his missionary homecoming. I didn't stick around after the services to talk to him, but a few weeks later we ran into each other at a football game, and he asked me out. We dated on and off for about 2 years and he finally proposed in August of 2005. 3 months later we were married. We got married in the San Diego temple, and then took a cruise out of Texas to Belize, Honduras, and oh my gosh I can’t remember the third stop, but it was really fun. I did get a little sea sick though. Here are some pictures from the wedding and the honeymoon.
