Prom

Best husband!  So here in Idaho, one of the radio stations hosts a second chance prom.  My sister in law decided she was going so we all jumped on the idea too.  Well the girls, we had to convince our husbands but knowing that they were going to score after this prom was a big incentive.  hahaha...........But I was so surprised that my husband agreed to go and didn't throw a big fit about it.

We started our night out at Red Robin
A few of the people that we went with.
And of course the prom picture.
It was such a fun night.  I even went over to my sister-in-laws house to get ready. I was so excited to see Tahri and have him see me in my make up and dress.  The music was not that bad, and there was quite a few people there.  Some were dressed up in actual prom attire but most came in Sunday best.  It was so cute to see some of the older couples there.  They were so cute and so in love still.  It sure was nice to get all dressed up and have a night out with my hubby.

Nightmare Moving Company

As I said in my earlier post, the moving company we worked with was a nightmare!  Do not I repeat DO NOT use world wide vanlines or transfers.  I can go on and on about our horrible experience but I definitely learned a few things when hiring a moving company. The number one thing to do is get the delivery date written in the contract, do not agree on an estimated date. When we first got our quote they gave us two weeks, so we signed our lease based on the date they gave us of when our stuff was suppose to be here.  Afterall we needed a place for them to deliver.  Well it took them like close to 45 days to deliver, so we were in an empty home for that long.  They told us our stuff weighed 3 times the amount we were quoted.  We asked for a re-weigh when they got to Idaho and they refused.  Every week I would call to see when our stuff was going to get here and they always extended it a week.  We paid for loading and unloading and when our stuff finally got to us, there was only the driver to unload, so of course Tahri had help unload our stuff.  That was a waste of money.

Anyways, it was such a frustrating time and I wanted so bad to sue the company.  But I wrote several letters to the company and to review sites about this company and I'm letting everyone on here know too that they are horrible.  All 5 of you.  Hahaha.........

Easter 2012

Easter weekend we moved into our new place.  We didn't have any of our furniture here and that is a frustrating story, which I will tell at a later time.  So we had nothing in our place besides the few things we came with in our jeep.  The kids were so cute this year, they new that the Easter bunny was coming and was going to be bringing some eggs.  They were so excited that morning when we woke them up and they found that they got easter baskets from gigi and papa, and that there were eggs hidden all over the place.

Here they are after finding all the eggs.
Mommy didn't make it too difficult for them to find.  But it was so much more fun, to see them get so excited when they spotted them.  Leila just wanted to open every egg she found, and Tale was on the hunt to get as many as he could.
Here they are playing with some of the things they got from gigi and papa in their baskets.

Samoan girl

My aunts from Samoa sent some really pretty puletasi's for Leila, and now she fits in them.  How cute does she in this?  I can't wait to dress her in more. And she loves them too.

Dinosaurs!!!

Tale and Leila got really into a dinosaur show called Dino Dan.  The museum had a dinosaur show so I took them.  They had a blast.
It was so crowded on the day we went, I guess it was the day all the schools decided to go.  But there was a discovery room that they closed to the school kids but let us go in.  It was just us in there, and it was so nice to let them roam around freely.  Because it was so hectic trying to keep track of both of them while holding Tylana and with a million kids all over the place.  They loved the computer games and the learning area.
It was so hard to get a picture with them together by a display with Tylana in my hands.  But it was a fun day.

Just some photos

This toy has been a popular one with the kids.  It started off as Tale's and now Tylana is enjoying it too.
Eating on her own for the first time.
Tale and Leila making pizza for dinner.  It started off good, but then got really messy so they were only allowed to do one pizza each.  ha.
She is so cute, this is when she just started sitting up by her self.
And quickly went to trying to stand up.

Come back!

Wow, I feel so overwhelmed by how much I have neglected this blog.  Every night I go through the post in my head, but I can never get online and do it.  Getting on the computer these days is hard and I really only want to get on to work.  But I feel it is so important to document things especially since this is one of the only ways that I do record what is happening in our lives.  So here is another attempt to be better.

Okay so quick recap.  We are currently living in Idaho Falls, we were bummed to leave Oceanside but couldn't pass up a great opportunity here in Idaho Falls.  Tahri got a great job with a real estate company out here.  He is working as an asset manager and really loves being involved in all the deals.  And the company is awesome!! So I think that we finally found a place to be for awhile and it feels good to finally feel like we are settling in somewhere.

We were staying with Tahri's older sister Lanayia and they were so great to us.  Now we are renting in Ammon and we are really loving our location, and the neighborhood.  Tale is really coming around.  He is making such great friends and it is so awesome to see him interact with others, have friends and just comfortable enough to venture out on his own a bit.  I'm loving it, and I really wish that we weren't renting because I'll be so bummed when we have to move again.  I hope the next place to move to is just as great.
