Easter

I finally found my camera after 2 weeks of looking for it. So I missed a lot of picture opportunities dang it. Easter weekend was full of activities, but I have to start the week before. On Wednesday I got my gall bladder taken out, it wasn't too bad, I have 3 incisions below my rib cage and then one below my belly button. I guess gall stone are pretty common to get during pregnancy and of course I ended up getting them, so my doctor recommended that I have my gall bladder removed to prevent the horrible attacks I was getting. So when I came out of surgery, I was pretty drugged up. They gave me some pain medication to help with the pain, and I was hoping that Tale would take a bottle so that I could load up on them, but of course he wouldn't, so I had to feed him. The first day was really awkward because I had to hold him in a different position because of my incisions and he didn't like it very much, but he adjusted. He was soo sleepy that whole night, I'm pretty sure from all the drugs, so I stopped taking my pain medication because it worried me so much. And that wasn't very fun, oh the things we will do for our children right? And the toll pregnancy takes on one's body, geez! :)
For easter weekend we had some friends from California come to visit, it was so nice to have them over, but it hurt so bad to laugh and that is what we did the most of. :) My niece Tilera got baptized that saturday and then on Sunday her baby brother had his blessing. So we had a ton of family in town, and it was a blast laughing, singing, swimming, and just hanging out with them. Of course I was still recovering so I couldn't participate in all of the activities :(. So since I didn't have my camera I don't really have pictures from the weekend. But I do have some new ones of Tale.
He is wondering what the red light is flashing on his face, :) (its the flash)
Okay so how cute is his smile here, oh i just love it, as you can tell i'm out of focus, not a very good picture taker!!! er!

Again he is giving me the look like what are you doing mommy? ha! but wanted to show he still has his beautiful blue eyes.

A few weekends ago we went to salt lake for my uncles wedding, my grandparents flew in from Samoa, and i just love this picture of my grandfather and Tale. This is their 3rd great grandson, they have 5 great grandchildren so far.

2 Months..........

Oh my goodness I can't believe Tale is 2 months already, he is growing so much and so fast. I was looking at some of his baby pictures when we first brought him home and he was soo tiny. But we are soo enjoying every minute of him, he is starting to ooh and goo at us and just smiling everytime we talk to him. I just can't get enough. He is awake a lot more now and just loves to look around and have us talk to him and tickle him. I think he is camera shy because once i get the camera out he doesn't smile as big, I keep trying to get a picture of his little giggles because they show his little dimples but he will just stare at the camera confused. oh they are just so cute. We took him in for his check up and he is doing great, in the 90 percentile in just about all areas. He weighs 12 pounds and is at little bit longer than 24 inches. He got his 2 month shots too and was such a trooper, mommy had a harder time than he did. He let out one big scream and then that was it. He is such a tough baby.

Blue eyes

okay so how does my son have blue eyes? Ha! Tale is about 7 weeks now, i can't wait to take him into his 2 month visit to see how much he has grown. i think he has doubled in size since we have brought him home from the hospital. he is starting to smile a lot more at us, and talk in his baby language, it is sooo cute. i love listening to him and just staring at him. i had to go back to work this week and oh the first day was soo hard. so is today but i'm soo glad that i'm only working half days for now. while i'm here i just can't wait to get home to him. i miss him so much when i'm away. these are just a couple of recent shots of him. one to show his long chubby body and the other to show his blue eyes. oh he is just so handsome! :)

One month old

Tale turned one month on January 19th. I can't believe how fast he is growing and that he is a month old already. I am trying to soak up every second I can with him. He is just so precious! My mom left about a week and a half ago and I miss her so much, so does Tale. I can't believe how much of a help she was when she was here. I wish she was closer..........

Tale took his first trip to California to visit his uncle Josh and aunt Julie. He got so many presents while he was there from them and his aunties patty, rachel and iva. He is so spoiled by everyone. He didn't to do well in California, his stomach was hurting him a bit poor guy. He did really well on the drive to California but didn't do that great on the way back. I really didn't want to take him on such a long trip because he was only 3 weeks, but he did okay. We all can't wait to go to California again.

Tale was born on January 19th at 9:56pm. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz at birth. I was in labor for about 20 hours and had to do it all natural. Oh it was a miserable, but what a joy it was when he was placed in my arms. He is so precious and just the best blessing one could recieve. I wish it wasn't so cold here he hates the cold. I guess we gotta move somewhere it is warm. :)

An old update

Here I am at 34 weeks, this was taken about 2 weeks ago. I'm about 36 weeks now, getting closer and closer to the due date!!!! Everything is on track, baby is measuring as he is suppose to be, i'm gaining as i should be, and he is moving around a lot now. I can see the movements in my tummy now too. It has been getting really uncomfortable to sleep, walk, and move really. Even breathing is getting hard, but nothing is too unbearable just yet. Just getting really excited for the arrival.
