Boston

This weekend we got to go to Boston. Tahri had a few days off of school for fall break and we decided to explore some of the surrounding areas while we are in the East, and we decided to start with Boston. Our friends Sam, Julie and Tucker also came and we had a blast. We had to take Chanel to a kennel for a bit and we hated leaving her.
On our way to see the city.

We started off at the Four Points at the Sheraton and just had an awful experience. It was quite a bit outside of the city and we had to pay toll charges everytime we wanted to go into the city. There had to be a wedding or something going on because people were up and down the halls, slamming doors, shouting in the halls, and we could even hear people through our walls. And then at 2 in the morning we had a fire alarm go off and had to wait out in the cold for nearly an hour. After that we decided to check out and go to the Westin, where Sam and Julie were staying. That hotel was sooo much better! I'm sooo glad that we were able to get a room there.

We started off by going to Quincy market, it was a really cool hangout place. They had a lot of different shops, street performers, and a replica of Cheers. We ate at this really cool pizza place, it was good pizza and the owners were Italians with a strong Boston accent that entertained us most of the night.

We took the boys to the aquarium, they enjoyed. At first Tale was scared at the big shark and turtle but when we went back a second time he didn't seem as scared. He really loved the penguins.
We walked the freedom trail, got to see Bunker Hill, Paul Reever's house, where the Boston massacre happened and a few other historical sites. We also watched the freedom parade, it was nice until a gun was fired right in front of Tale. Poor guy got sooo scared, probably because mommy screamed too.
We took some pictures during our walk along the freedom trail. The boys were getting tired of sitting in their strollers.

We also went on a duck tour that took us all around the city and it also went in the water. Tale enjoyed the water for a bit, but started getting annoyed close to the end of the tour.

We are in the water, sorry Julie I hogged all the room. :) Here are some cute pictures.........

Tale and Tucker wearing the same outfit on the day we were leaving are they sooo cute?

September updates

Some random shots in the month of September................

Tahri went in to get some glasses because he has been having a hard time seeing things in a distance and he would get headaches after studying for so long, so he looked into getting some. We put a pair on Tale, soo cute right? They are not prescription glasses they were just one of the sample pairs to see which frames we wanted.
Tale in a lion costume, I ended up taking it back because it was a little too small and he didn't like it too much.

We got to go to a baby shower. Tale loved the ballons.
A few of the babies that were there. We had a couple of visitors from Australlia come and visit. Michael has one of Tahri's mission companions and he and a friend came to visit the US. It was awesome of them to come and stay with us for a bit. They were such a crack up. Tale enjoyed having them over too.
