Fine Print

I took Leila in to take some pictures because I saw this awesome deal for 26 photos for $8 for one person. So I thought oh I'll get some pictures of Leila and then take Tale another day and do the same deal. Of course when I looked at the coupon while she was getting her picture taken it was for one pose. I was so annoyed because I ended up getting their cheapest package which you can have as many people as you like, so I spent all this money and Tale isn't in any of them. But she was so cute I just had to get them, and there were some other coupons that I was able to use sooo it wasn't that bad. But still, next time I'll be sure to READ THE FINE PRINT!

But Leila was totally loving it, she would smile and ohh, when I took Tale in at this age he cried like the whole time. Here are some of her shots.....Oh and how cute are her headbands that I made. :)

Big Slide

At one of the parks we go to there is a big kid playground and a little kid playground. This day Tale wanted to go the the big kid playground. He headed to the big slide and I was trying to be brave as he climbed up the stairs. I wanted so bad to run up behind him and hold his hand but I stayed below and held my breathe. It was no big deal to him. He also likes to walk down the slide and look over the edge so that was the main reason I was so scared, but he listened when i said to sit down.
And of course I was right there at the bottom to see him slide down. My baby is growing up too fast for his mommy!!! Tale you are such a big boy and I love you sooo much!

Golf, Harley and Swinging

We drove up to Cortland one day and Tale was getting restless in the car, we drove by a miniature golf course that looked really fun so we stopped to let Tale run around a bit. They had a cute miniature club for him and he tried hitting the ball a few times but was obsessed with just putting them in the hole. He also loved to climb on all the rocks and loved the water features they had there too.
Daddy showing Tale how to hit the ball.

After golfing we got a slushy and Leila got to get out of her stroller for a bit before we headed home.
Norah came over to play and they had a blast going up and down the slide, and Norah did so good on the big girl swing.
We went to this restaurant in Syracuse with the Bectholds and one of the guys eating outside said the boys could take a picture on his Harley, Tale had a blast but wanted to go and sit on all the Harleys.

Summer is over.........

Oh how I don't want it to end! Tahri started back to school a couple of weeks ago and my online classes that I teach for BYU-Idaho will be starting this week so I tried to take the kids out as many days as possible last week before I start working again. Not that it will take up a ton of my time but it sure does take up my free time! I really loved having the summer off.

Leila was a trooper, this is what she did: While we:
Played at the arcade
Feed the ducks
Went to the Splash Park
Cruised around the farmers market
Visited the plantations at Cornell
And played at the park

We are excited for Fall but winter not so much. It was such a fun summer and we hope to continue to do fun stuff before it gets cold even though daddy is back at school.

Cute outfits

Leila looked like such a big girl when I got her dressed. I couldn't believe that she fit in these clothes already but she is growing so fast. I thought she looked so cute so I just had to take a million of pictures of her. She had some sandals on but they wouldn't stay on.
Tale has to pick out his own clothes, we were doing laundry this day and he had to put Leila's skirt on. I didn't think it was going to fit him but sure enough it went on. He is also obsessed with the car right now. He goes in there and jams out to the music and takes they keys in and out of the ignition. This day it was like 90 degrees outside and he wanted to sit in the car. So I just let him and would go out and check on him peridocially. He was dripping with sweat but still didn't want to come out. I couldn't get the skirt off of him either, he just loved it because it had so many different colors on it. At least that is what I tell myself. ha!

2 Months

Oh my I can't believe that Leila is now 2 months. She has grown so much and too fast for me. She is such a big girl I hardly got to enjoy the tiny stage. But I'm loving every minute with her.
We went to the doctor today for her check-up and both my babies were so good for me. Tale loves playing with all the toys in the doctor's office, and usually I have a hard time tearing him away from them but this time another girl had a melt down and while she was doing that Tale was willing to come with me. I'm glad it was someone elses kid this time. :)

Leila has grown so much! Here are some of her updates:
13 pounds
23 inches
She is holding her head up so good now, she smiles and oohs and coos. Doctor said she has good muscles tone and her reflexes are great.
