Spring break is now over, boo!! It was so nice having Tahri home with us for a whole week. Tale loved having daddy around to play with him. The weather was good half of the time so that was good. We didn't go anywhere for spring break, we stayed in Ithaca and it wasn't so bad. We went to the park, a waterfall, the movies and played outside a lot!
Tale found a ball at the park and wouldn't let it go. He was taking it with him everywhere.
He even went down the slide with it. Finally by the end I was able to distract him by putting him on the horse on the merry go round. I kicked the ball far away so he couldn't see it. I was sure who ever left it there was going to come back for it. I can't remember the name of this waterfall, but Tale loves the water, he had fun watching it crash at the botton. It was really muddy so we didn't go too far. We went shopping for some new couches because lets face it, leather is the only way to go with kids and with a dog. They were having a big clearance sale and Tale was crying for a balloon, so they got him his very own. And he was drawn to this piece, I think he might have mommy's taste. :)
Tahri and I tried to go to a movie together so we got some friends to watch Tale for us, but 10 mins into the film we got a text that he was not happy there. So Tahri went to pick him up. He did really good sitting through the movie with us. Did a lot better than his daddy, his daddy couldn't wait for it to be over. :) Of course it was one of mommy's picks, we watched Our family wedding. I liked it :)Since Tale did so good for that movie the next day we decided to take him to another one but this time something he would really enjoy. We went and watched How to train a Dragon in 3D. He didn't wear the glasses the whole time, and he only sat in the chair for half the movie, the other half he watched but wanted to walk through the aisles and stand up. Good thing it wasn't that crowded. He loves his cartoons and daddy liked this movie too, he was really cool seeing it in 3D.

New York City
Last weekend Tahri's program had a conference in New York city so Tale and I went with got to tag along. It is about a 4 hour drive from where we are at and we had a blast. The weather turned out to be really nice and I was really surprised by how friendly the city was even though it is soo busy. Of course the drivers weren't all that friendly and I can totally see why people don't drive there. Parking is outrageous there were signs for $8.47 every half hour, you couldn't turn down a bunch of streets so you would have to drive in circles to get to your destination, pedestrians walking all over the roads, cabs stopping in the middle of the road, it was just so crazy. Anyways, while we were there we just cruised around a lot.
We went to Ripley's Believe it or Not. We took Tale to Toy's R Us and let him go on the ferris wheel. He loved it!!!He loved riding on his daddy's shoulders everywhere. He we are on our way from Madison Square Garden to the Empire State Building. We ate at Johnny Rockets, it was so fun, if I could live in any era I think it would be the 50's. Our waiter gave us a bunch of nickles and we played our favorite jams most of the night. As you can see Tale loved the milkshake! I love my Jamba Juice and they don't have one here in Ithaca, so we were there almost everyday getting our favorite smooties. Tiffany and Taylor also went on the trip and joined us on one of our many stops there. We went to Grand Central Station to figure out the train and subway routes. Went and did some shopping from there and walked around time square.By the end of it Tale was pooped. :) Here he is passed out on the subway, he wanted to hold the poles like everyone else was. I was right there with hand sanitizer everytime he let go. hahaha.............. Thanks daddy for the fun weekend. It was so nice to get out of Ithaca for a weekend.

Pink Sleeper
We were shopping the other day and Tahri found this really cute warm sleeper for our baby girl. But as soon as we put it in the shopping cart Tale claimed it. He wouldn't let it go, he even had to hold on to it while the cashier rang it up. And ever since then he has been sleeping with it, carrying it around the house and just always goes to it for comfort. It is the cutest thing.
