The Drive

After all the celebrating it was time to get down to business. We had to pack up and get ready for our road trip across the country. It was great to have Tahri's mom and brothers around to help with the move and with the kids. I was really dreading the drive, I HATE long car trips and I sooo wasn't looking forward to it with a 2 year old, a 10 month old and a dog. It took us about 3 nights to get to Idaho which was our first stop. The kids did pretty good, I was surprised that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Lots of juice and treats and hand holding really helped. :) We didn't figure out until day 3 that Tale would be really content watching a movie on the laptop. DA! So next time we for sure will be getting him his own DVD player.

Tahri did ALL the driving and we had a lot of stops to let the kids and dog out to run around.

First big stop right before leaving New York, can't remember the town, but we found a little park area and the kids were sooo excited to get out and run around.

We made it to Cleveland and spend the night in a motel right off the freeway. Tahri had an interview in Toledo which is where our really good friends were moving to, so we drove over to their house to hang out while Tahri did his interview. We were so excited to see them again but also really bummed to have to say goodbye again.
We hung out for quite awhile that day, but took off in the afternoon, we didn't drive very far that day because we were both pretty tired and the kids did not want to be in their chairs.

So we drove for about 5 or 6 hours and found a hotel to crash at. The next day was our biggest day we traveled for about 12 hours that day. One of our longer stops for the kids. They loved being out and stretching their legs.
We lost Chanel's leash somewhere so we had to use a plug as one. ha! Here is Leila showing the new leash and eating strawberries. She loves them!!!!!
Our forth day of travel was pretty long too, it was close to 10 or 11 hours. Here was our last stop before getting into Idaho Falls, this little town was really cute, I can't remember what it was though. ha! Thats me though no sense of direction.

So here Tahri is helping some kid with his fishing pole, I went to the other side of the pond to take pictures of the kids and thought for sure Tahri had his eye on the kids too, especially with Leila looking like she is heading straight for the water, but I thought wrong.
She went in...........I didn't get a picture of her going in because I was like ah Tahri she is getting closer are you going to get her? Okay I better run over there. But here she is after her spill, smiling and running around.
I changed her clothes but she was NOT ready to go back into her chair so more playing..........

Graduation

Graduation day was HOT and humid, oh my it was brutal, especially being nearly 6 months pregnant. But the real estate school put on a small reception after the big one and it was nice to be in an open area where the kids could be free and have some food. Tahri and the program Director.
The graduating class of 2011

You did it babe!!!
My graduate! I'm so proud of you babe, you worked so hard and did a great job! I can't wait to see what the next chapter of our lives will be.

More celebrating

Tahri's mom and two younger brothers came in to town for graduation. We went to Taughnnock (spelling) Falls. The boys went and hiked Buttermilk Falls.

We went to a Real Estate bbq and the kids loved running all over the place. At the same park Norah had her 2nd birthday party and we got to ride on the carousal. They had a lot of fun on it.
We made it to the waterfall!!! Leila missed it. She was knocked out.
Leila fell asleep during the hike to the waterfall. I wasn't sure she was going to like it in there but she was pretty comfortable. I think she looks like me in this picture.

Week before Graduation

I'm so behind on my blog! Lots of updates on the way. To start off, Tahri completed all of his finals and projects a week before graduation and we celebrated as soon as he was done. Tahri took the kids for a walk on campus. My Tale boi loved it. Then we had a little bbq with some friends. Tale LOVES this baby girl. How cute are these little Cornell kids??
